Many people will know what a journey I’ve been on with my fitness (physical and mental) and how I’ve found a love for the gym, running and of course being an avid season ticket holder for Portsmouth FC.

Leaving 365 days between runs last year wasn’t my greatest idea so I thought what better motivation then finding another way to give back to the community (and to hold me to account).

Pompey in the Community is the affiliated charity of Portsmouth Football Club that aims to harness the motivational power of football to enable social impact across the community. Every year, the charity works with over 36,000 children, young people and adults across Portsmouth and the surrounding areas to provide opportunities for people to grow and belong.

• £5 will enable an adult with dementia to access a Life'n'Chimes session providing a safe place and support for them and their loved ones
• £25 will enable a child in-receipt of free school meals access to a hot meal and physical activity in the school holidays
• £90 will pay for a child facing adversity to receive a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk out at Fratton Park
• £200 will pay for a vital seat belt for a specialist bike for our volunteer led Pompey Pedals inclusive cycling project

Every Pompey pound will go back into the Pompey community.
